My Ride

Wife, Ann and I have been married 35 years and have 2 children ....5 grand children.  We are more the new age grand parents, not much for baby sitting, preferring to take them to ball games or trips.  Weird, huh?  We travel quite extensively and have over the past 20 years.  Now we find we have traveled very little in our own country and have missed quite a bit.  So now we find long weekend trips to California, Ore.,  Idaho...etc. is a great way to go.

I've has been busy over the past 35+ years, running the family trucking business.  We have started to trim back in equipment and my partners (brothers) are ready to think retirement also.  I have been interested in race horses for the past 10 years and my horses are running currently in California and Arizona.  I have also collected cars over the years, it seems, as long as we have places to store them,  I don't get rid of anything.

This reunion will be such fun, and really look forward to it.  I have been on the lookout for the auction item, suggested for the evening fun during the reunion....we leave for Spring Ball in Peoria, Arizona this weekend and perhaps I will get a Jersey for the auction...Mariners....kinda appropriate for ole salts!

I turned 60 on 11/29 and weathered well, must be the benefit of a good WIFE....it would be a huge stretch to get into my old uniform.   I am a total sports nut...go to the local high school and college games.
